What do you know about noise induced hearing loss?
The World Health Organisation (WHO) says that 1.1 billon young people are at risk of hearing loss due to exposure to noise in recreational settings. By 2031, it is estimated that 14.5 million people in the UK, approximately 20% of the population, will have a hearing loss and adult onset hearing loss will be in the top ten of disease burdens in the UK above cataracts and diabetes as measured by disability life adjusted years.
